Carol Perkins and Eric Witter were wed on July 19 in Monterey.

The bride is the daughter of Eileen Perkins of Los Gatos and George Perkins of Santa Cruz. A graduate of Los Gatos High School and California State University, Chico, she is a kindergarten teacher at Farnham School in the Cambrian School District.

The groom is the son of Julie and Larry Witter of Santa Clarita. He is a graduate of Canyon High School and Humboldt State University, and is a sixth-grade teacher at Raymond J. Fisher Middle School.

The two were introduced to one another by the groom's sister three years ago and were wed by the bride's uncle at the Monterey Beach Resort. Following a honeymoon in Belize, the couple now resides in Campbell.
