Warrant Service—Oct. 15, 8:24 a.m. Police arrested a man on Highway 9 in Monte Sereno who had four warrants. The man was charged with burglary, inhaling toxic substances, beating his spouse, battery of an officer and holding someone against their will. The man had also violated a municipal code.
Suspicious Circumstance—Oct. 15, 12:50 a.m. A caller on Blossom Hill Road saw a white car pull into a gated area near a Wells Fargo bank, where a ladder set against the side of the building led up to the roof. A representative for the bank confirmed the ladder had been used the day prior. Police retrieved a set of plans about replacing the bank's air-conditioning unit from the roof. The ladder was laid on the ground.
Unauthorized Possession—Oct. 14, 11:44 a.m. Police arrested a man on Aurora Lane and Los GatosAlmaden Road for possession of a controlled substance. At the same time, police noticed that the red Thunderbird he was driving was not registered to his name and attempted to contact the last-known registered owner. The car was towed in the meantime.
Malicious Mischief—Oct. 13, 9:49 p.m. Juveniles were throwing eggs at passing vehicles from Loma Alta Avenue onto Los Gatos Boulevard. Police went out to the scene, but saw nothing suspicious. The caller agreed to clean the eggs off the property.
Disturbance—Oct. 13, 2:36 p.m. Someone on Church Street called police to report rumors that groups were forming for a fight behind Forbes Mill. Police were sent to the scene but saw no signs of disturbance.
