'Hello, Dolly!'

To usher in the opening of its 39th season, the West Valley Light Opera Association is putting on 'Hello, Dolly!' through the months of November and December. A lively musical comedy, the production includes Los Gatos local Shawna Downs (left) as Minnie Fay, who loves to gossip about men, as she does here with Anna Traina, played by Irene Molloy. A champagne gala kicks off the musical on Nov. 8 at 8 p.m., with shows continuing Fridays through Sundays until Dec. 6. Tickets are $20 to $24, available by calling 408.268.3777.
