Police Report
Theft—Oct. 29, 8:02 p.m. A caller on Charter Oaks Drive reported his cat was stolen. Police arrived on scene and took an incident report.

Minor With Alcohol—Oct. 29, 5:04 p.m. Police contacted four teenagers at the rear of a gallery on N. Santa Cruz Avenue and cited them for being minors with possession of alcohol in public.

Burglary—Oct. 29, 1:24 p.m. A caller on Montgomery Street reported his car stolen. A report was filed.

Restraining Order Violation—Oct. 29, 11:42 a.m. A man violated a restraining order by harassing the reporting party in front of the courthouse on Capri Drive. When police arrived, the man had calmed down.

Burglary Alarm—Oct. 29, 4:16 a.m. Police arrived at a N. Santa Cruz Avenue building after a security alarm sounded and found that the handle to the back door appeared broken and the door was off the hinges. The front door was secure. Police entered the building and found that the scene was clear.

Stolen Vehicle—Oct. 29, 3:55 a.m. A white and brown 1985 Toyota Camry parked on W. Parr Avenue was stolen. There were no signs of broken glass where the car was parked. A report was taken.

Drunk In Public—Oct. 28, 10:05 p.m. A man walking on Los Gatos Boulevard near Lark Avenue was found to be intoxicated. A cab driver also accused the man of stealing. Police arrested the man for being drunk in public and for fraud.

Suspicious Person—Oct. 28, 7:12 p.m. A man who had been talking on a phone at Montebello Park was seen leaving the park and was headed toward the police station on Main Street. The caller told police the man might be the same person who tried to assault a woman on the Los Gatos Creek Trail recently. The scene was clear when police arrived.

Theft—Oct. 28, 2:46 p.m. A man took $90 from a bank teller on Los Gatos Boulevard. The man, carrying a large black backpack, fled the scene on a red mountain bike.

Identity Theft—Oct. 28, 1:09 p.m. A caller on Bachman Avenue told police that someone was using her identity to obtain benefits from Kaiser Permanente. A report was taken.

Identity Theft—Oct. 28, 12:50 p.m. A man on N. Santa Cruz Avenue reported that someone had accessed his personal online account and made 11 charges under his name. A report was filed.

Theft—Oct. 28, 9:02 a.m. A caller on Via Sereno Drive in Monte Sereno said checks were stolen on Oct. 25. Police later discovered that a check was cashed in the city of Santa Clara.
