It's the final month of the regular season for high school football teams, so it's about time to start thinking about ... baseball?

Well, it is in Los Gatos, at least for players ages 6­16.

America's Baseball Camps, spearheaded by former Los Gatos star Ben Boulware, will return to Los Gatos High School on Nov. 29 and 30. The camp will feature a 9 a.m.­12:30 p.m. session on Nov. 29 and a noon­3 p.m. session on Nov. 30 for players ages 6­9. Players ages 10­16 will attend from noon­3 p.m. on Nov. 29 and 3­6 p.m. on Nov. 30. The cost is $125 per player.

Quito LL

The Quito Little League will hold sign-ups for the 2004 season on Nov. 22, 11 a.m.­2 p.m., and Dec. 2 and 4, 6:30­9 p.m., at Rolling Hills Middle School. Players ages 5­12 are eligible. Softball sign-ups

The Los Gatos­Saratoga Girls Softball Association will hold sign-ups for the 2004 season on Nov. 12, 7­9 p.m., in the cafeteria at Los Gatos High School.

The recreational softball league is open to girls ages 7­14 (as of Dec. 31, 2003). Players must provide a birth certificate for age verification and the registration fee is $160 per player ($100 for each additional family member).

The Los Gatos Little League will hold sign-ups for the 2004 season on Nov. 12 and 19, 7­9 p.m. each night, in the cafeteria at Los Gatos High School.

The Los Gatos Pony League will hold registration on Nov. 12 and 19, 7­9 p.m., in the cafeteria at Los Gatos High School.

The league is open the players ages 13­14 (born on or between Aug. 1, 1989, and July 31, 1991). Players must provide a copy of their birth certificate as proof of age and a utility bill as proof of residency. The player donation is $300.
