Suspended License—Nov. 12, 10:49 p.m. After stopping a 22-year-old man near Highway 9 and Wraight Avenue, police learned that the man had a suspended license and arranged to have his red Ford Mustang impounded for 30 days.
Warrant Service—Nov. 12, 10:04 p.m. A man with a $2,500 warrant for his arrest for a misdemeanor charge of driving under the influence and driving with a suspended license was apprehended near E. Main Street and Fiesta Way. The man's car was towed.
Drug Possession—Nov. 12, 4:33 p.m. Police arrested a man near University Avenue and Towne Terrace for possession of methamphetamine and hypodermic needles. The man was taken to county jail.
Harassing Calls—Nov. 12, 12:45 p.m. A caller on Pollard Road reported that they had been receiving calls for the past month from someone who would hang up without speaking.
Suspicious Vehicles—Nov. 11, 10:57 p.m. People in a white Acura and a green Pontiac sedan with Oregon license plates were driving around the Wild Way neighborhood for at least 10 minutes. Police arrived at the scene but were unable to locate the vehicles.
Hit and Run—Nov. 11, 7:04 p.m. Someone driving a blue van hit a tow truck near Francis Oaks Way and Blossom Hill Road while the tow-truck driver was about to hook up a customer's vehicle. The caller did not know which direction the driver of the blue van had fled.
Harassing Calls—Nov. 11, 7:02 p.m. A caller on Loma Alta Avenue said they had received seven vulgar prank calls within the past hour that sounded like they were made by juveniles.
Harassing Calls—Someone living on Alberto Way said they have been receiving harassing phone calls from a student and had notified West Valley College campus police as well. A report was filed.
Hit and Run—Nov. 11, 3:28 p.m. The driver of a 1996 Buick Le Sabre reported to police that someone driving hit their car and fled the scene at Los Gatos High School. The incident, which occurred between 12:30 and 3 p.m., left damages to the front bumper.
Forgery—Nov. 11, 1:51 p.m. A merchant on Blossom Hill Road discovered a $10 counterfeit bill while making change for a customer. The caller did not know where the fake bill had come from.
Theft—Nov. 11, 11:53 a.m. Someone living on Pennsylvania Avenue reported to police that they had their second motorcycle cover stolen within the month.
Burglary—Nov. 11, 10:21 a.m. A caller on Oka Road reported seeing a car with the driver's side window broken. The caller did not know where the owner of the car was. Police arrived and eventually learned that a purse and camera were stolen from the vehicle.
Malicious Mischief—Nov. 11, 9:12 a.m. Someone used a crowbar to remove the metal bands around a flower planter on Albright Way. The scene was clear when police arrived.
Burglary—Nov. 11, 2:23 a.m. A caller on Vineland Avenue in Monte Sereno reported that someone had broken into their 1996 Toyota Tacoma and stolen the car's stereo system.
