Bloomin' beautiful

About 75 kids and adults helped plant 3,000 daffodil bulbs at Oak Meadow Park and along streets throughout town on Nov. 16. Now in its third year, this community event was organized by the Town of Los Gatos Chamber of Commerce's beautification committee. Volunteers came from Los Gatos Christian, Van Meter Elementary and Fisher Middle schools. Also present were members of Cub Scout Pack 556, Tiger Cub Den 10 and Webelos. 'I never saw such an eager group of people as this year,' said beautification committee Chairwoman Shirley Henderson. The daffodils should be in full bloom by March.
