Police Report
Disturbance—Dec. 3, 9:24 p.m. A woman on Dardanelli Lane said her ex-boyfriend had made threatening phone calls. A fight ensued when the ex-boyfriend refused to allow her to speak to her son.

Injured Person—Dec. 3, 8:43 p.m. A man on W. Main Street called police to report that he had been beaten up and had his wallet stolen about half an hour earlier. The victim, whose head was bleeding, could barely speak. He was taken to the hospital.

Robbery—Dec. 3, 6:08 p.m. A woman called police from a store on Pollard Road after two males grabbed her purse off her shoulder. The robbers, who appeared to be 16 to 18 years old, took off on foot toward Quito Road. Officers searched the area around Westmont High School, but found nothing. About half an hour later, a woman notified police that she found the purse on the grounds of an apartment complex in Campbell.

Disturbance—Dec. 3, 3:13 p.m. Two men were arguing over a parking space in Lot 2 of the town's public lots. Officers arrived and ended the argument.

Suspicious Vehicle—Dec. 3, 8:31 a.m. Someone near Shannon and Short roads noticed a large white truck with no markings driving around the neighborhood. The driver did not appear to be from the post office or a regular delivery person. Officers arrived on the scene and learned that the person was delivering fliers.

Warrant Service—Dec. 2, 11:44 p.m. Police arrested a man near Union Avenue and Downing Oak Court who had a $4,000 warrant issued by the San Jose Police Department for failure to appear in court concerning a vehicle code violation.

Suspicious Vehicle—Dec. 1, 8:41 p.m. A caller on Greenwood Road in Monte Sereno noticed an unfamiliar white vehicle heading toward the end of the street. The caller reported that there is a chronic problem with people parking their cars at the end of the road and drinking and littering. The scene was clear when police arrived. The caller gave officers the license plate number of the car.

Identity Theft—Dec. 1, 8 p.m. A man on Ferris Avenue said that when he went to a Washington Mutual bank to open an account, he was told that the bank had already set up a mortgage account under the same Social Security number, but with a different person's name. A report was filed.

Forgery—Dec. 1, 7:04 p.m. A caller on Chippendale Court told police that someone had charged items from the Victoria's Secret website with his credit card. Victoria's Secret would not disclose the address of where the merchandise was to be sent. The caller later reported that the transaction did not go through.

Missing Person—Dec. 1, 5:05 p.m. A woman on Belhaven Drive said her son had called three hours ago to say he was on his way home but had not arrived. She suspected that the person who picked her son up had drugged him. San Jose police later notified the woman that her son was with the female friend and that both were in custody.

Burglary—Dec. 1, 3:39 p.m. Police arrested a man on N. Santa Cruz Avenue who tried to get a refund on items he had previously stolen from the store. Employees had the man in custody when police arrived. The man was taken to county jail.
