Town discusses
green building
and Sobrato
The Los Gatos General Plan Committee encourages residents to attend a Dec. 10 presentation by Darren Bouton of KEMA-Xenergy on energy-efficient building design and green building—a technique that reduces the consumption of natural and nonrenewable resources. The information will aid the town as it considers creating a sustainability policy to ensure the continued availability of natural resources for future generations. The meeting starts at 5:15 p.m. at the council chambers.
Afterwards, the planning commission will hear revised plans from Sobrato Development Companies for the largest development project in town. That meeting starts at 7 p.m.
