Story time for families at library

Family time isn't just for the holidays. The Los Gatos Public Library hosts various story-time programs throughout the week for kids and parents to attend together. Mother Goose story time for children 12 to 24 months old is held every Monday at 10:30 a.m. Preschool story time for children ages 3 to 5 is held on Tuesdays at 10:30 a.m., and toddler time for 2- to 3-year-olds is every Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. A special time for grandparents to help out is held from 3 to 5 p.m. on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday.

Two new art exhibits at Art Museum

The Art Museum of Los Gatos is hosting two digital photography artists through Jan. 17. Diane Fenster, with her show "Shatterer of Worlds," uses computer technology to digitally create artwork. Helen Golden's show, "Rebel Artist With a Cause," uses real-life images with digital enhancement to create "tra-digital" art. Each exhibit is open to the public Wednesday through Sunday, from noon to 4 p.m. The museum is located at 4 Tait Ave. For more information call 408.354.2646.

Exclusive tour of local wineries in January

South Bay Wine Tours will soon be hosting its annual Passport Tour through the Santa Cruz Mountains. The tour will be held on Jan. 17, from 10:30 a.m. to 5:15 p.m., and costs $95 per person. For more information and to register, call 408.867.9661.
