Family time isn't just for the holidays. The Los Gatos Public Library hosts various story-time programs throughout the week for kids and parents to attend together. Mother Goose story time for children 12 to 24 months old is held every Monday at 10:30 a.m. Preschool story time for children ages 3 to 5 is held on Tuesdays at 10:30 a.m., and toddler time for 2- to 3-year-olds is every Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. A special time for grandparents to help out is held from 3 to 5 p.m. on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday.

Two new art exhibits at Art Museum

The Art Museum of Los Gatos is hosting two digital photography artists through Jan. 17. Diane Fenster, with her show "Shatterer of Worlds," uses computer technology to digitally create artwork. Helen Golden's show, "Rebel Artist With a Cause," uses real-life images with digital enhancement to create "tra-digital" art. Exclusive tour of local wineries in January
