Stephanie Harvey and Jason Statler were married June 29 in Grass Valley, with Dan Miller officiating the ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of Pat and Meredith Harvey of Grass Valley. A graduate of Nevada Union High School and Butte College, she owns Stephanie's Custom Interiors of Los Gatos.

The groom is the son of Bob and Carolyn Statler of Los Gatos. He is a graduate of Leigh High School and works for DF Rios Construction in Fremont.

The couple first met in 1996 when the bride was a "trophy girl" for a car race the groom was competing in. Meeting again at a race in 1999, the two struck up a friendship and romance. The couple honeymooned in Yosemite and now resides in Los Gatos.
