Boldt, Burnett

Brittany Boldt and Joseph Burnett were wed July 12 in Lake Tahoe.

The bride is the daughter of Bob and Paula Boldt of Austin, Texas. A graduate of Crystal Springs Uplands High School and Duke University, she earned her master's degree at California State University, Northridge, and she is a genetics counselor.

The groom is the son of Michael and Kathryn Burnett of Alexandria, Va. A graduate of Thomas Jefferson High School and Duke University, he works in marketing for Guidant Corporation in Santa Clara.

The couple first met at Duke as math partners in a calculus class. After a honeymoon in St. Lucia, the couple now resides in Los Gatos.
