LGLL tryouts
The Los Gatos Little League will hold player evaluations on Jan. 24 at Baggerly Field next to Blossom Hill School. Players age 12 (as of July 31) must be on the field at 8:45 a.m., players age 11 at 10:30 a.m. and players ages 9 and 10 at 12:45 p.m.
The league board has voted to expand the major division to 14 teams, creating an increase from 100 to 168 players. Because of the expansion, it is important for all players ages 11 and 12 who have not played in the majors division before to attend the evaluation session. Those who do not attend the session cannot compete in the majors.
