Parole violation—Jan. 21, 2:30 p.m. A woman said she believed that her boyfriend may have overdosed. According to the police report, the woman said her boyfriend was mentally unstable and suicidal. When police reached the boyfriend's home on Rose Avenue, they found his door unlocked and entered the residence. They subsequently found out that the boyfriend was violating his parole and, after taking him to the hospital for medical treatment, took him into custody.
Disturbance argument—Jan. 18, 9:28 p.m. A man and a woman were seen in a VW Passat yelling at each other. The car was parked on Alberto Way.
Hazardous material—Jan. 18, 6:58 p.m. A truck on Union Avenue was leaking an unknown substance. The owner of the truck was contacted. The police found that the truck was not leaking anything but that the driver had the truck tires locked up and was making a skid mark on the road as a result.
Person down—Jan. 17, 2:22 p.m. A man was seen laying down beside his van. The police responded and took the man to a local hospital. The man had four warrants out for his arrest.
Vehicle accident—Jan. 17, 1:01 p.m. A man was riding his bicycle on Main Street when a woman opened her door and hit his bike. There was damage to the bike, but the woman doesn't believe she should pay.
Assault with deadly weapon—Jan. 17, 1:16 a.m. A man was stabbed in the leg and said that he had been hit with a baseball bat when he was involved in a fight on N. Santa Cruz Avenue. The man did not know who stabbed him but provided a description of the subjects to the police. The suspects are two white males in their mid-20s. Both have dark hair and dark complexions. One subject had medium-length hair and was wearing a tight blue shirt and jeans. The second subject was also wearing jeans.
Lost vehicle—Jan. 17, 8:02 a.m. A man was unable to locate his white Toyota 4Runner on University Avenue. The car was located on the other side of town and it appeared that the man's friends were playing a joke on him.
Solicitor—Jan. 16, 2:55 p.m. A man with gold teeth and short black hair was trying to solicit a resident at Francher Court. When the caller asked the man to leave, he became uncooperative.
Assault and battery—Jan. 16, 1:20 a.m. A woman was assaulted standing outside of a bar on N. Santa Cruz Avenue. A subject pulled the woman's hair.
