Juried show is
looking for the
art of locals

The date is approaching for the 51st annual Los Gatos Art Association Open Juried Show at the Art Museum of Los Gatos. Although the show will not open until early spring, artists are encouraged to begin work on art to be submitted. Artwork will be due at the museum by March 21. Leigh High play
is a fundraiser
for choir trip

In an effort to raise money to enter a choir competition in Hawaii, the Madrigal Choir of Leigh High School is self-producing The Fantasticks. A sincere yet comical story focusing on a young girl, boy, and two fathers, it is the longest-running musical on Broadway. Performances will be held at Leigh High School at 7:30 p.m., Feb. 11­14. Tickets are $6 for students and $8 general on Feb. 11 and $8 students and $10 general on Feb. 12. The cost is $14 on Feb. 13 and 14 and will include cheesecake and drinks prior to the performance. Films wanted
for CineCats
Film Festival

Los Gatans looking to break into the film business now have their opportunity. The annual film showcase CineCats is seeking submissions for its March 25 filmfest at the Los Gatos Cinema in downtown Los Gatos. Films in VHS format are due on Feb. 13 at 5 p.m.
