Heather Mygatt and Steve Kelch were wed Oct. 4 by Father Ben Manding at St. Martin's Church in Sunnyvale.

The bride is the daughter of Judson Mygatt of Corcoran and Sidney Mygatt of Los Gatos. A graduate of Los Gatos High School and UC San Diego, she is a marketing manager.

The groom is the son of Bill and Judy Kelch of Sunnyvale. A graduate of Wilcox High School and Cal Poly­San Luis Obispo, he is a software engineer.

The couple first met in 2001 while training for a triathlon with the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society's Team in Training program. The newlyweds honeymooned in Tahiti and now reside in Sunnyvale.
