The West Valley Flash, a girls under 11 (born after July 31, 1992) Class 1 soccer team, is looking for players, including a goalkeeper, for the spring season. Under-13 soccer

The Los Gatos United, a girls under-13 select team in the Los Gatos United Soccer League, will host tryouts for the spring and fall seasons for players born after Aug. 1, 1990, on Feb. 14, 8­10 a.m., at Fisher Middle School. For more information, call Frank McKiney at 408.927.7731.

Under-9 soccer

The Los Gatos­Saratoga Girls Softball Association is looking for an umpire-in-chief to oversee umpiring needs for the spring season that will begin in March.
