On Feb. 12, 600 underprivileged children participated in the third annual Dentist With a Heart program, sponsored by The Health Trust in conjunction with the Santa Clara County Dental Association. Seventy dentists from Gilroy to Palo Alto donated their time and money.  More

Lakeside, LGUSD agreement Props. 57, 58 State of the Town
Los Gatos Union School District board members unanimously voted on Feb. 10 to approve an agreement to provide educational services for seventh- and eighth-grade students from the Lakeside Joint School District.  More Major cuts could be made to the state budget should Propositions 57 and 58 not pass on the March 2004 ballot, stressed West Valley-Mission Community College District Chancellor Stan Arterberry.  More Mayor Glickman used his State of the Town address on Feb. 9 to reassure residents that the town would weather the downturn but also to encourage more economic activity in Los Gatos.  More
