Memorial services were held on Feb. 9 for Robert C. Thompson, 81, who died on Feb. 2 in Copperopolis, Calif. Thompson, a Los Gatos resident for 77 years, was a professional horse trainer and an equitation instructor for more than 60 years.

Thompson is survived by his children, Jess Thompson and Jennifer Mogg; his daughter-in-law and son-in-law; and his two grandsons. Donations can be made to Hospice of the Sierra, P.O. Box 4805, Sonora, CA 95370.
