Police Report
Domestic disturbance—Feb. 11, 7:51 p.m. A woman got into an altercation with her son-in-law. According to police, both individuals were spitting on each other, and the son-in-law shoved the mother. Neither reported injuries or wanted further action taken.

Battery—Feb. 10, 6:42 p.m. A female patient at a hospital on Los Gatos­Almaden Road said a nurse grabbed her by the hair while she was staying in the hospital.

Disturbance argument—Feb. 10, 4:15 p.m. A man in a blue Volkswagen Passat followed a woman up to her home after yelling at her during a traffic altercation. He took off in an unknown direction before police arrived.

Unstable person—Feb. 10, 12:52 p.m. A man in a Jeep Cherokee was seen waving a gun on Constitution Avenue and threatening to kill himself. According to the police report, the man was 77 years old and had recently suffered two heart attacks. The man calmed down after police arrived. The police advised the man's family to keep his gun and bullets locked in a separate cabinet at his home.

Drunk in public—Feb. 8, 6:38 p.m. A homeless man was seen walking up and down Las Astas Drive. The man was mumbling to himself. He had dark, short, spiked hair and was rummaging through a garbage can.

Suspicious vehicle—Feb. 8, 2:59 a.m. A man was seen driving around Kennedy Road in a 1980s white Toyota Camry. According to the police report, he would get out periodically and approach a car with his flashlight on. When police asked the man what he was doing, he said that he was delivering newspapers and needed directions.

Prowler—Feb. 7, 1:50 p.m. A man tapped on the front window of a home on Tait Avenue. The man ran away after the resident inside the home walked outside.

Hazardous material—Feb. 6, 1:22 p.m. The fire department responded to calls that there were two gallons of mercury on the ground near Bel Crest Drive. When the fire team arrived at the location, they found approximately one-quarter cup of an unknown substance on the ground.

Missing person—Feb. 6, 9:44 p.m. A son told his mother that he would never be coming home again. The son was reportedly upset over his arrest the day before for a health and safety violation. The mother did not know where her son had gone. The son came home later that day to his residence on Blossom Hill Road.

Burglary—A homeowner said that four men were trying to climb over his fence on Bellhaven Drive. According to the police report, the homeowner was in San Luis Obispo at the time and was alerted to the problem by a neighbor. The four men turned out to be friends of the homeowner's son.
