Police Report
Unstable person—Feb. 18, 7 p.m. A woman appeared at a residence on Blossom Hill Road and asked the occupant if she could use the phone. The woman said she was running away from her boyfriend and was afraid that her boyfriend might harm her again. The homeowner asked the woman to wait outside until the police arrived at the residence. According to the police report, earlier that day the San Jose Police Department received a phone call from a woman saying that her boyfriend had hurt her. The woman matched the description in this incident. After the police questioned the woman, she was taken to Valley Medical Center.

Disturbance, fight—Feb. 17, 5:52 p.m. Two males got into a fistfight in front of a store on Winchester Boulevard. The two men ran down the street when they saw police arrive at the scene.

Sex offenses—Feb. 16, 11:20 a.m. A man grabbed a woman's behind while she was jogging on the Los Gatos Creek Trail. The man also made lewd remarks to the woman. According to the police report, the man is around 5 foot 6, in his early 20s, weighs about 140 pounds, and has dark hair and brown eyes. He was wearing a white hooded sweatshirt with yellow or gold lettering.

Disturbance, argument—Feb. 15, 1:06 a.m. A woman in her 40s threw darts at a bartender working at a bar on Los Gatos Boulevard. The woman left the bar with a man before police arrived.

Suspicious person—Feb. 15, 12:45 a.m. Five juveniles in their early 20s were seen with flashlights looking down Dittos Lane. When police questioned the juveniles about their activities, they said they were local high school students working on a project about abandoned buildings in the town.

Stray animal—Feb. 14, 7:13 p.m. Two deer were seen running northbound on Highway 9. They were in the roadway and a passerby was afraid a vehicle would hit them.

Disturbance, argument—Feb. 13, 4:53 p.m. A woman reported that her husband tried to get into her vehicle and hurt her. He left the area a few minutes later with his girlfriend. The woman decided to seek a restraining order against her husband.

Assault and battery—Feb. 13, 4 p.m. A woman pushed her brother but there were no visible injuries or complaints of pain when police arrived to the residence on Carlester Drive. According to the police report, the woman may have been intoxicated.

Welfare check—Feb. 13, 9:54 a.m. A girl told her friend that she was being emotionally and physically abused by her father. The friend reported the incidents to the police. When police made a house visit, they found that the girl had exaggerated her situation to her friends. The family is already in counseling and is trying to work things out.
