Police Report
Domestic Violence—March 3, 12:18 p.m. A boy reported that his father hit him while they were in their home on Lora Drive. The son also stated that he hit his father back in response.

Grand theft—March 3, 9:30 a.m. A leaf blower was stolen from the trunk of a car on Winchester Boulevard. The perpetrator was believed to be a female with gray/blonde hair.

Prowler—March 2, 11:03 p.m. A woman reported seeing a light flashing into her bedroom on Harleigh Court. The woman later told police that the light moved through the window briefly and then stopped.

Unstable person—March 2, 7:45 a.m. A man was seen pushing a grocery cart on Los Gatos Boulevard. The cart contained a grocery bag, with something moving inside. When police checked the contents of the bag, they found a duck inside.

Assault, battery—Feb. 29, 12:13 a.m. A woman reported that her date hit her in the face. Her date then pulled the woman's hat over her head. The woman said that she has been hit before by the same man and that he had been drinking.

Battery—Feb. 28, 8:48 p.m. A man called to report an altercation at a restaurant on N. Santa Cruz Avenue. One man was injured, bleeding from his eyes. The other man involved in the fight left before police arrived.

Malicious mischief—Feb. 28, 8:06 p.m. A man reported that his tires had been slashed for the fifth time in the last six months. He parked on N. Santa Cruz Avenue every night in the same place and suspected that his girlfriend's son is behind the incidents.

Minor accident—Feb. 28, 2:10 p.m. An older woman stopped her vehicle in the middle of N. Santa Cruz Avenue because she was having chest pains. She waited in a nearby store for police to arrive.

Fire—Feb. 27, 7:45 p.m. Two students at Fisher Middle School set a sweatshirt on fire after they were asked to leave school grounds. The two students left the school on bicycles before police arrived.

Suspicious circumstances—Feb. 27, 4:41 p.m. A woman received a phone message of her daughter screaming and her daughter's boyfriend yelling in the background. The daughter was located a few hours later; she had not been contacted by her boyfriend and believed he was just playing a prank on her family.
