free up nights

Can't remember the last relaxing night out of town or even out of the home? The Los Gatos­Saratoga Community Education and Recreation Department is offering to help ease the workload through its "Parents' Night Out" program.

Parents can drop off children ages 3­9 from 6:30 to 11 p.m., at Blossom Hill Elementary School, 16400 Blossom Hill Road, on the first Saturday of each month or at Van Meter Elementary School, 16445 Los Gatos Blvd., on the third Saturday of each month.

Upcoming dates are March 20, April 3 and 17. For more information, call 408.354.8700 ext. 221.

give Indian
dance show

The San Jose­based Abhinaya Dance Company, featuring several Los Gatos residents, will present Shiva—The Cosmic Dancer on March 28 in the Louis B. Mayer Theatre at Santa Clara University, 500 El Camino Real.

Senior center
offers movies
free of charge

Watch movies for free every fourth Wednesday of each month at the Los Gatos Senior Center, 208 E. Main St. Secondhand Lions will play on March 24, 1 p.m., in the Neighborhood Center Lounge. Lunch will be provided by the Live Oak Nutrition and Service Center.

Lunch reservations must be made two days in advance by calling 408.354.0707. For information call the senior center at 408.354.1514.
