The Los Gatos Rotary Club will host its annual "Great Race" from Saratoga to Los Gatos on April 4. Race-day registration begins at 7 a.m., with a 9 a.m. start time for the run.

The Los Gatos Senior Center and Live Oak Senior Nutrition will present "Senior Idol," a talent show. The performance will be held March 25 at 1 p.m. in the large hall at the Los Gatos Methodist Church, 111 Church Ave. Lunch will be offered before the show, and reservations are required 24 hours in advance. The PlaneTree Health Library will hold four free seminars in April on various topics associated with aging.

The events are free, but seats are limited and reservations are required. The lectures are offered each Saturday in April from 10 to 11:30 a.m. Call 408.358.8483 to reserve a seat.
