host the annual
Great Race
The Los Gatos Rotary Club will host its annual "Great Race" from Saratoga to Los Gatos on April 4. Race-day registration begins at 7 a.m., with a 9 a.m. start time for the run.
The 4-mile course will start in Saratoga at Big Basin Way and Third Street and conclude at N. Santa Cruz and Bean avenues in Los Gatos. To preregister (before April 4), visit the Runner's Factory at 51 University Ave., Athletic Performance at 55 W. Main St. or sign up online at http://www.

talent show
in Los Gatos
The Los Gatos Senior Center and Live Oak Senior Nutrition will present "Senior Idol," a talent show. The performance will be held March 25 at 1 p.m. in the large hall at the Los Gatos Methodist Church, 111 Church Ave. Lunch will be offered before the show, and reservations are required 24 hours in advance. offer lectures
The PlaneTree Health Library will hold four free seminars in April on various topics associated with aging.
The events are free, but seats are limited and reservations are required. The lectures are offered each Saturday in April from 10 to 11:30 a.m.
