Los Gatos Public Library's annual townwide read has begun, and residents are invited to read The Beekeeper's Apprentice by mystery writer Laurie King. Copies of the book will be on loan at the following locations: Los Gatos Coffee Roasting Company at 101 W. Main St.; Peet's Coffee at 798 Blossom Hill Road; Starbucks Coffee at 624 Blossom Hill Road; or at the library itself at 110 E. Main St. Friends of the Library board member Martha Alderson will interview King May 14 in the town council chambers at 7 p.m.

CERT training program taking volunteers

Los Gatos holds its annual townwide garage sale May 15. Residents interested in participating in the sale must fill out an application form by May 1.
