The Los Gatos Chamber of Commerce, ImageSnap and Time Captured Photography will host a photography session in time for Mother's Day at the Los Gatos Town Plaza, May 1­2 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Photographer Laura Bergerol will take the photos, and ImageSnap will have a photo ready for customers in about an hour for $14.99. Those who purchase photos will also receive a list of special offers from many local merchants for those two days.

garage sale

Residents interested in participating in the town's annual community garage sale have until May 1 to register. The event, coordinated in conjunction with Monte Sereno and the Santa Clara County Recycling and Waste Reduction Program, will take place on May 15 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

The Los Gatos Community Concert Association will wrap up the 2003­04 concert series with a performance from Opera San José. With the help of Los Gatos resident Lea Frey, the group will be singing pieces from Georges Bizet's The Pearl Fisher and Johann Strauss' Die Fledermaus. The concert takes place on May 9 at 2:30 p.m. in the Los Gatos High School auditorium. Doors open at 2 p.m. Tickets are available at the door for $20.
