St. Luke's will
present another
season of music

St. Luke's Episcopal Church has announced its line-up for the sixth annual Sunset Series of Summer Concerts. Pianist Eric Zivian and cellist Tanya Tomkins will kick off the season on May 21 at 8 p.m. with pieces by Beethoven. Other performers include the St. Petersburg String Quartet, Quadre and Ensemble Amacord.

Tickets—$22 for adults, $18 for seniors and $11 for students—and program information are available by calling the church at 408.354.4560. Subscriptions for the entire season are also available. All concerts are held at the church, 20 University Ave.

Local authors
will hold book
signing at Viva

San José State University political science professor Larry Gerston and his colleague, Terry Christensen, will be at Viva! Primavera on May 23 from 4:30 to 6 p.m. to sign copies of their book titled Recall! California's Political Earthquake. The authors will lead a discussion on the recall at 5 p.m. The restaurant is located at 15970 Los Gatos Blvd.

Senior center
offers movies
for free

Movies are shown for free every fourth Wednesday of each month at the Los Gatos Senior Center on 208 E. Main St. Playing at 1 p.m. in the Neighborhood Center Lounge on May 26 will be Whale Rider. Live Oak Nutrition and Service Center will provide lunch. Reservations for lunch must be made two days in advance by calling 408.354.0707.
