Luba Maria Peattie, 67, died in her Los Gatos home of lung cancer on May 31. Originally from Toronto, Canada, she lived in Los Gatos for 30 years. Peattie worked for Moore Buick and Media Arts before she retired in 2002.

She is survived by her son, Mark, daughter Nadya, daughter-in-law Michelle, son-in-law Steve and grandchildren Alexandra, Clayton and Colin, all from Los Gatos, and sisters Nadia and Vera from Ontario, Canada. The memorial service was held at Saratoga Federated Church.
