Outstanding Warrants—June 14, 11:16 p.m. An officer conducting a probation search on Los Gatos Boulevard made contact with a 20-year-old man who had two outstanding arrest warrants from the San Jose Police Department. He was arrested and booked into the main jail.
Explosive Device—Between June 12, 6:45 a.m., and June 14, 6:45 a.m. Someone threw a lit bottle containing a flammable liquid onto an asphalt driveway on College Avenue. The device appeared to have extinguished itself. No damage was reported.
Arson—June 14, 12:43 a.m. A 17-year-old boy's car was set on fire in the driveway of his Blossom Hill Road home. Another resident of the home saw the flames, called 911 and used a hose to put out flames until firefighters arrived and completely extinguished the fire.
Burglary—Between June 11, 9 a.m., and June 13, 2 p.m. Someone stole 20 bottles of wine from a residence on Pennsylvania Avenue. The burglar entered through an open garage door.
Theft—Between June 12, 6:30 p.m., and June 13, 8 a.m. A car stereo and $10 in cash were stolen from an unlocked vehicle parked in front of a Pennsylvania Avenue home.
Drug Possession—June 12, 11:34 p.m. An officer observed a man who stopped his vehicle to ask for directions. He appeared to be under the influence of a controlled substance. The 36-year-old man said he did not have his license with him and told the officer his name. When the officer retrieved the man's wallet from the car, it was discovered that the man gave a false name, was on parole for drug offenses and had a revoked driver's license. Methamphetamines, empty baggies, a ledger, cash, checks and birth certificates with different names were found on him and in his car.
Mail Theft—June 12, between 8:20 a.m. and 1:50 p.m. Someone removed an unknown amount of mail from a mailbox on Teresita Way.
Drunk in Public—June 11, 3:23 p.m. A man appearing to be drunk entered a business on Los Gatos Boulevard and used a woman's cellular phone without her consent. Officers determined the 24-year-old man to be drunk. He was arrested and booked into jail.
Theft by Forgery—Reported June 11, 10:01 a.m. A 21-year-old woman reportedly used another woman's credit card to purchase merchandise from Naturino Los Gatos. The woman is still at large.
Party—June 10, 11:24 p.m. An officer responded to a loud party with a bonfire being held in a large open space near Greenridge Terrace. The land is owned by the parents of a 19-year-old man who hosted the party. There were approximately 100 people at the party, and most were younger than 21 years old. There were "large quantities of alcohol being consumed" by under-age guests. The party was broken up, the bonfire was extinguished, and the young man was cited for hosting a party where alcohol is being consumed by people under the age of 21. Police broke up a similar party hosted by the same man on May 14.
