Mary C. Boysen, 81, died on May 29 at her winter home in Tucson, Ariz. The daughter of Ross and Jennie Conlin, she was the wife of the late Robert Boysen. She lived in Los Gatos for 40 years.

Boysen served as a docent at the Triton Museum and was an avid reader who shared her love of books by reading to schoolchildren and volunteering with libraries in Los Gatos and Eugene, Ore. She loved nature and enjoyed visiting the ocean and hiking with her family.

Boysen is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Julie and Bruce Victorine, grandson Jacob Buskirk and her companion of many years, Don Antonietti.

A memorial service will be held at Skyland Church in Los Gatos on July 10 at 2 p.m. Donations may be made in Boysen's name at Habitat for Humanity, the Nature Conservancy or the Sierra Club. For more information, call 408.353.1572.
