Hit and Run—June 22, 3:29 a.m. Several people witnessed a woman hit three cars parked on Blossom Hill Road with her vehicle and then flee the scene. They followed her onto Michael Lane, where she parked her car and fled. Officers found her passed out in some bushes on Dorado Lane about a half-block away. She was arrested for prowling and booked on that charge as well as driving under the influence and hit and run.
Brandishing a Weapon—June 21, 7:10 p.m. A 17-year-old boy pulled out a knife during a verbal altercation with a 46-year-old man on Castlewood Drive. The boy was cited and released to his parents.
Identity Theft—June 21, 6:26 p.m. A 47-year-old man arrived at the police station to report ongoing forgery and identity theft by a 41-year-old man he used to date and live with. The men are also former business partners. Police contacted the younger man, but did not arrest him. The case is still being investigated.
Domestic Violence—June 21, 2:21 p.m. A 22-year-old woman got into an argument with a 24-year-old man on Forrest Avenue. The woman reportedly pushed the man and ripped his shirt. He then hit her with plastic hangers. Both sustained injuries but refused medical attention. The woman was arrested and booked into jail.
Vandalism—June 21, 7:41 a.m. A 31-year-old woman let her puppy out on the back lawn of the Calle Marguerita apartment complex where she lives. The puppy jumped on a 47-year-old woman living at the complex, who reportedly became irate, screamed at the other woman and pushed the puppy off of her. The younger woman then banged on the other's front door and broke a glass window pane. The two reportedly have an ongoing feud.
Auto Burglary—June 20, between 2:30 and 4:26 a.m. Someone smashed the front window of a truck parked on Alberto Way and stole several items from the vehicle.
Fire—June 20, 3:01 p.m. The men's restroom at Belgatos Park caught fire. An arson investigator on the scene said the fire appeared to have been accidental.
Outstanding Warrants—June 18, 8:54 a.m. An officer recognized a vehicle at the intersection of Lark Avenue and Highway 17 as belonging to a 38-year-old man with two outstanding misdemeanor warrants. The officer attempted to conduct a vehicle stop, but the man did not yield to the officer's vehicle's red lights and siren, so the officer followed him for approximately two miles. The man eventually stopped on Dell Avenue in Campbell, where he was arrested for the warrants and evading a police officer. He was then booked into county jail.
Vandalism—June 17, 4:23 p.m. Someone used a .22-caliber rifle to shoot more than 20 rounds into the baseball snack shack and storage locker of Los Gatos Christian Church on Hicks Road. There were no suspects.
