Disorderly Conduct—July 21, 3:37 a.m. A man in a condominium complex on Willow Hill Court found his and a neighbor's gates open after being alarmed by his barking dog. There had been several overnight thefts from garages at the complex. A police officer saw a man dressed in black with a hood over his head walk out from between two nearby garages. The officer chased the man, caught him and arrested him for prowling and loitering. The 18-year-old man was booked into jail.

Annoying Phone Calls—July 20, 8:45 a.m. A 58-year-old woman on Longwood Drive received a phone call from a man who said he was her son. She spoke with him for approximately two hours. The man then said she was his sexual fantasy. She later learned that it was not her son.

Vandalism—Between July 19, 8 p.m., and July 20, 12:45 a.m. Someone used an unknown object to shatter the front driver's side window of a sedan parked on More Avenue.

Domestic Violence—July 20, 12:04 a.m. A 43-year-old woman called police to report a verbal dispute between herself and a 40-year-old man on Carlton Avenue. When police arrived, the man was gone, but the woman said he kicked her in the head several times and squeezed and twisted her left arm. Responding officers observed no physical injuries and the woman refused medical attention. She also appeared to be intoxicated and was slurring her words. She refused an emergency protective order and said a friend would come pick her up.

Mail Theft—July 19, 3:32 p.m. A woman was notified by the U.S. Postal Service that it had someone in custody who had stolen mail from her Withey Road residence between July 1 and 11. She was not aware of the stolen mail until the notification and did not know how much had been taken.

Burglary—Between July 16, 5:30 p.m., and July 19, 8 a.m. Someone stole four laptop computers from a medical office on Pollard Road.
