Battery—Sept. 19, 2:30 p.m. A 55-year-old man reportedly struck a 61-year-old man on Blossom Hill Road during an argument over furniture ownership.

Burglary—Sept. 19, 2:15 p.m. A woman opened the office of a University Avenue church and found a man standing over the cash box. He had apparently forced entry by breaking and tampering with bolts. She did not know if any cash was missing, but said it all appeared to be there.

Drunk in Public—Sept. 19, 2:12 a.m. A 25-year-old man was arrested for public drunkenness after attempting to enter a Bachman Avenue residence. He said he did not know where he was or how he got there.

Battery—Sept. 18, 2 a.m. An unidentified man in the parking lot of a Los Gatos Boulevard bar struck a 33-year-old man. The alleged assailant fled before police arrived.

Grand Theft—Sept. 17, 12:13 p.m. A woman reportedly stole six items worth a total of about $600 from a University Avenue lingerie store.

Drug Use and Possession—Sept. 17, 1:09 a.m. A 34-year-old man was found to be under the influence of drugs on Los Gatos Boulevard at Spencer Avenue. He also had drug paraphernalia with him, and a records check revealed a $10,000 bench warrant from the Campbell Police Department for traffic-related offenses. He was arrested and booked into jail.
