High school's fall play aimed at high school-aged students
By Jennifer McBride
It's that time of year again—time for the Los Gatos High School fall play. And this time, the offering is something unique for audiences to take in.

The play is called Voices from the High School, written by Peter Dee.

"The play consists of a series of monologues and duos between actors, presenting common emotions and encounters that high school students are familiar with," says Kindra Molin, an English teacher and the play's director. "The play is about high school kids, and the content is appropriate for high school-aged students," she adds, though warning that some content may be too mature for younger children.

The cast includes Naomi Abel, Rachel BeDell, Jordan Corey, Justine Lauren, Kathleen Leary, Jocelyn Long, Amy Losch, Jon Oleson, Amanda Payne, Cassie Peppard, Roth Rind, Erika Sengstack, Brad Thornton, Sarah Vaillancourt and Brett Van Zuiden. Assistants to the director are Malinda Harrington and Kirsten Marks.

Performances will take place on Oct. 21, 23, 28, 29 and 30 at the Neighborhood Center at 208 E. Main St. in Los Gatos. All performances begin at 8 p.m. Tickets are $8 for adults and $6 for students and children or $5 for students with an ASB card.
