Virginia Hamilton, 81, died on Oct. 14. A resident of the Santa Clara Valley since 1956, Hamilton most recently lived at The Terraces of Los Gatos.

She is survived by her children, Sharon, Dawn and Mark Stewart, and Kirsten and Robert McGlynn; her grandchildren, Nathan and Anne Laure Boyd, Jolee Boyd and Tristanne Kuharski; her sister, Jean Walker; and her niece, Susan, of Forest City, N.C.

A memorial service was held at the Los Gatos Methodist Church on Oct. 23. In lieu of flowers, a memorial gift can be made to the Los Gatos Methodist Church or a charity of choice.
