Evading Officer—March 14, 11:58 p.m. A man in a black 2003 Dodge Ram truck evaded police on Carlton Avenue at Gateway Drive with "wanton disregard for public safety." He was not caught.

Burglary—Between March 13, noon, and March 14, 8 a.m. Someone broke the front window of a Village Lane business and took two acoustic guitars.

Injury Accident—March 13, 4:56 p.m. A male bicyclist was struck by a passing vehicle's mirror on Highway 9 at Ridge Crest Avenue in Monte Sereno. The man had minor injuries and was transported to a hospital for treatment.

Vandalism—March 12, between 7 and 11 p.m. Someone spray-painted the corner panel and tail light of a vehicle parked in a W. Main Street parking lot.

Theft—March 11, between 10 and 10:45 p.m. A 17-year-old girl reported that her purse had been stolen from the kitchen table of a house on Vineland Court in Monte Sereno where she was attending a party. Her purse was later found in bushes near the home, with her ATM card and $20 cash missing. An 18-year-old man has been named a possible suspect.

Vandalism—March 11, 12:35 a.m. A 15-year-old boy and a 16-year-old boy were driving on N. Santa Cruz Avenue and threw an egg that hit a marked police vehicle. They were contacted and admitted to throwing eggs at vehicles. They were cited and released to an adult guardian on a written promise to appear in court.

Warrant Service—March 10, 9:08 p.m. Police responded to a call of an intoxicated woman passed out in a limousine. An officer woke her up and discovered that the 42-year-old woman had a suspended license and an outstanding $40,000 warrant for driving under the influence.
