Burglary--March 22, 8:08 a.m. Someone entered a medical office on National Avenue and stole computer equipment valued at $10,000.
Arson--Between March 21, 6:30 p.m., and March 22, 7:50 a.m. Someone set fire to the garbage can in the men's restroom at Oak Meadow Park on Blossom Hill Road.
Forgery--March 21, 6:27 p.m. A woman on Blossom Hill Road advertised an item for sale online. A buyer claiming to be from Nigeria sent her a check for $3,300 more than the asking price. The buyer asked her to cash the check and pay back the difference via Western Union. The woman realized the transaction was a scam and called the police.
Stolen Vehicle--Between March 19, 10:10 p.m., and March 20, 2:51 a.m. A woman reported that her green Hyundai sedan was stolen from the corner of Howes Drive and Kensington Way while she was at a party.
Felon Possessing a Firearm--March 18, 6:34 a.m. Police conducted a probation search of a 41-year-old man who has been convicted of a felony. Officers found a handgun, ammunition and drug paraphernalia. He was also believed to be under the influence of drugs. He was arrested and booked into jail.
Drunken Driving--March 18, 2:02 a.m. Police stopped a vehicle on N. Santa Cruz Avenue for driving without lights after dark. The 48-year-old man at the wheel was arrested on charges of driving under the influence of alcohol.
