Arson--May 16, 9:43 p.m. Someone set a baseball hat on fire and left it burning behind the Safeway on Union Avenue. It did not damage any surrounding structures.

Vandalism--May 15, 6:10 p.m. A woman reported that someone threw a rock through her car window, shattering it. She was driving on Hicks Road at the time.

Vandalism--May 15, 1:48 p.m. A woman reported that a clothes washer, an antique table and some other items were thrown into the swimming pool of her Drysdale Drive home while she was not home.

Grand Theft--May 15, between 8:45 and 10:37 a.m. Someone stole a power washer and a blower from the back of a pickup parked in front of a Winchester Boulevard home. The value of the stolen items is estimated at $450.

Burglary--May 14, 6:05 p.m. Police arrested a 43-year-old woman on N. Santa Cruz Avenue on a charge of burglarizing four clothing stores. She allegedly placed the clothing in a shopping bag as she removed items from each store.

Burglary--May 14, 7:50 a.m. Someone forced entry into the Los Gatos High School cafeteria's portable trailer. A window was broken and food and drinks were stolen. Food and drinks were also stolen from a nearby storage closet.

Driving Under the Influence--May 14, 1:30 a.m. A 23-year-old woman was arrested on charges of drunken driving after being stopped for speeding and possible expired registration on N. Santa Cruz Avenue.

Suspicious Person--May 12, 8:47 p.m. Police received a report of a suspicious person at Fisher Middle School who was asked to leave and refused. Officers asked the 53-year-old man to leave several times, but he refused. He was placed under arrest and booked into jail.
