Isaac Herrera, a line cook at the Wine Cellar Restaurant in the Old Town shopping center, spreads out some freshly cut broccoli. Isaac was a participant in an offshoot of the WorkAbility program called the El Cajon Project. He has now been hired for the summer by the restaurant where he received his culinary training.

Vandalism arrest Highway 9 Memorial service
Three Los Gatos juveniles were arrested July 5 in connection with 28 cases of vandalism and more than $30,000 worth of property damage.  More With federal grant money approved, Highway 9 is destined for improvements intended to make the scenic route safer for motorists, cyclists and pedestrians.  More Rick Tharp may have had more of an extended family than he knew.  More
