Theft--July 26, 9:50 a.m. On July 23 around 2:30 p.m., a resident on Oak Rim Way was in a hurry and noticed mail was in his box. He left the mail there, but when he returned at 7 p.m. the mail was gone.
Attempted Fraud--July 23, 10:22 a.m. A report was made from Belwood Gateway of a possible attempted fraud. A woman stated that a person from Spain attempted to buy a couch from her off of the Internet. He sent a check for $2,175 instead of $175. He said it was in error and asked the victim to wire the extra money back to him. The victim was not comfortable with that arrangement. She called the police. It was determined that this was a possible scam.
DUI--July 23, 4:58 a.m. An adult male was arrested for drunk driving with three prior convictions and being a convicted felon in possession of pepper spray. He was pulled over on Towne Terrace for driving without headlights
Theft--July 22, 3:44 p.m. A resident on Pennsylvania Avenue reported that his daughter had been stealing and using his credit card without his permission. She had since moved out of the residence and could not be located.
Narcotics--July 22, 11:41 p.m. An adult male was arrested for being under the influence and in possession of methamphetamine. He was pulled over in front of Tait Avenue.
Grand Theft--July 21, 11:27 p.m. Three males entered a video store on Blossom Hill Road. They asked to view Sony Gameboy "PCPs." When the clerk brought out the games, the men grabbed them and fled the store to a waiting vehicle.
