Annual parade was a winner, thanks to long list of winners
By Jennifer McLain
With 8,000 participants, there was stiff competition at the 49th annual Los Gatos Children's Christmas and Holidays Parade on Dec. 3. Nearly 200 groups signed up to dazzle nearly 30,000 attendees in the parade co-sponsored by the Los Gatos Community Education and Recreation Department and the Los Gatos Lions.

And just who are these float-making, song-playing, carefully groomed winners? While they crossed the board from out-of-towners to all ages, one thing's for sure--they are certainly a competitive bunch.
