Local youth soccer teams holding tryouts

A new Los Gatos United Soccer League boys under-13 soccer team is looking for players (born after July 31, 1995) for summer tournaments and the fall soccer season. Tryouts will be held at Fisher Middle School on Jan. 13, 20, 26 and 27. Contact Mark Wander at 408.356.5325.

The Los Gatos Lynx, a new girls under-11 team in the Los Gatos United Soccer League, will hold tryouts (for players born after Aug. 1, 1997) on Jan. 26 and 27 and Feb. 3, 3-5 p.m., at Fisher. Contact Lisa Comeau at 408.395.5196.

The Los Gatos WildCats, a girls under-9 soccer team, will hold tryouts on Jan. 12, 13, 26 and 27, 1-3 p.m., for girls born on or after July 31, 1998. Ccall Georgia Norbutas at 408.866.7047 or 408.666.4117.

The Los Gatos Elite, a girls under-11 Division 1 (Select) team in the Los Gatos United Soccer League, will hold tryouts for players born after Aug. 1, 1997, for the spring and fall seasons. Tryouts are Jan. 12 and 13, 9-11 a.m., at Fisher Middle School. Contact Joan Meulman at 408.205.5016.

The Los Gatos ThunderCats, a girls under-11 soccer team, will hold tryouts on Jan. 12, 13, 26 and 27, 9-11 a.m., for girls born on or after July 31, 1996.Call Georgia Norbutas at 408.866.7047.

The Los Gatos United Pumas, a boys under-11 competitive soccer team, will hold tryouts on Feb. 2-3 and Feb. 9-10, 9-11 a.m., at Fisher Middle School. Call coach Bav Thakrar at 408.513.5968.
