Police Log

Accident--On Feb. 19 at 5:18 p.m. at Los Gatos Boulevard and Good Samaritan Drive. Police say an elderly man who may have suffered a heart attack or stroke ran off the road and into a fence. The man later died as a result of the medical problems that caused the accident.

Burglaries--On Feb. 19 at 1:31 p.m. on Thomas Drive. A residence was burglarized. Another home burglary occurred on Feb. 18 at 7:58 p.m. on Las Miradas Drive.

Stolen vehicles--On Feb. 18 at 7:42 a.m. on E. Main Street. Police responded to a report that a vehicle had been stolen. Another vehicle was reported stolen on Feb. 16 from the parking lot at 400 N. Santa Cruz Ave.

Abuse--On Feb. 16 at 11:11 p.m. on W. Parr Avenue. Police responded to a report of a family disturbance. A man was booked into the main jail and charged with elder abuse.

Auto burglaries--On Feb. 15 at 9:24 p.m. on Winchester Boulevard. A car was broken into. Another car burglary was reported on Feb. 14 at 9:26 p.m. on N. Santa Cruz Avenue at Royce Street.

Tampering--On Feb. 15 at 1:17 a.m. on Los Gatos Boulevard. An incident of vehicle tampering was reported.
