Local youth soccer teams ready to hold tryouts

Quicksilver

The Quicksilver, a girls under-15 Class 3 soccer team, will hold tryouts for the upcoming season for players born after Aug. 1, 1993, on Jan. 12, noon-2 p.m., Jan. 13, 9-11 a.m., and Jan. 19, 3-5 p.m. For more information, contact coach John Politoski at 408.323.8768 or johnpolitoski2007@yahoo.com.

Sharks soccer

The Rose Garden Sharks, a boys under-12 recreational soccer team, has a few openings for experienced players. The Sharks play both the spring and fall seasons and finished in first place in 2007. Girls under-14
