SHERIFF'S REPORT

Petty theft--March 7 at 10:40 p.m. on Saratoga-Sunnyvale Road. The suspect obtained a chicken and a carton of cigarettes in a Safeway store and drove quickly away.

Petty theft--March 8 at 6:30 p.m. on Winter Lane. The suspect reached into a car after the victim had parked it, removed a bag and fled. The suspect then drove away and threw the bag onto the road after finding nothing in it.

Drunk in public--March 10 at 3 a.m. at the intersection of Saratoga-Sunnyvale Road and Cox Avenue. The suspect exhibited signs of being under the influence of an alcoholic beverage while standing on a public street.

Burglary--March 10 between at 2:20 a.m. and 2:36 a.m. on Marilyn Lane. An unknown person scaled the wall surrounding the teacher's lounge at Marshall Lane School, got in by breaking a window and took food and carbonated beverages out of the refrigerator.

Use of false citizenship or resident alien card--March 13 at 6:15 a.m. on Saratoga-Los Gatos Road and Belle Court. While being arrested for driving under the influence, a man identified himself with a resident alien card that was later determined to be false.
