Fire Report

1:21 p.m., Aug. 20 on Saratoga Avenue. Saratoga Fire assisted with the evacuation of two houses near a gas line that had ruptured during street construction. Fire officials stayed on the scene in case of fire, but none occurred.

5:30 p.m., Aug. 19 on Fourth Street. Saratoga Fire responded to a waste spill from the Plumed Horse restaurant. Fire officials stopped the leak and called local authorities for help with the cleanup.

4:46 p.m., Aug. 18 on northbound Highway 85 south of Quito Road. A motorcyclist hit a roll of plastic bubble packaging, causing him to lose control of the motorcycle. Paramedics took him to Los Gatos Community Hospital with a broken left forearm.

10:35 p.m., Aug. 17 on Big Basin Way. Saratoga Fire aided a 15-year-old female with a possible broken hip. Patient was transported to Los Gatos Community Hospital.

7:54 p.m., Aug. 11 on Stratton Court. Central Fire put out an illegal burn by a resident.
