Moore was born Jan. 4, 1921, in Roaring Fork, Va. After graduating from high school, she took a job in Washington, D.C. working for the FBI. In 1945, she married Ivren H. "Skinnie" Moore and moved to Lima, Ohio. In 1965, the Moores moved to Saratoga, where they lived for 30 years.

Survivors include husband Ivren H. Moore of Gardnerville, Nev.; sons James Moore of Vancouver, Wash., and Jeff Moore of Glendale, Ariz.; three grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and sisters Hazel Beckett of West Virginia, Mildred Milam of Florida and Nellie Walser of North Carolina.

Memorial services have been held, with interment in Princeton, W. Va.
