Possession of marijuana--On Jan. 27 at 8:35 a.m. on Devon and McFarland avenues. Residents thought a man sitting in his car looked suspicious. When sheriff's deputies confronted the man, he admitted to smoking and possessing a small bag of marijuana. He was cited and released at the scene.

Soliciting without a permit--On Jan. 24 at 4:55 p.m. on Miller Avenue and Eric Drive. A sheriff's deputy observed a woman soliciting without a permit. She was cited and released at the scene.

Residential burglary--Between 11:30 a.m. and 3 p.m. on Jan. 23 on Montpere Way. An unknown person entered a residence through an unlocked window and stole electronics, including an Xbox with upgrades valued at $1,100. The person exited through a back sliding door and is still at large.

Soliciting without a permit--On Jan. 22 at 3:30 p.m. on Baylor Avenue and Purdue Drive. A person admitted to soliciting without a permit and was cited and released at the scene.

Vandalism--Between Jan. 21 at 9:30 p.m. and Jan. 22 at 10 a.m. on Glen Brae Drive. An unknown person shattered the passenger's side window of a car, but did not take any items from inside. Two additional burglaries and acts of vandalism occurred in the same area during the same time frame.

Auto burglary--Between Jan. 21 at 9:30 p.m. and Jan. 22 at 5:45 a.m. on Bonnie Ridge Way. An unknown person entered a residence through an open garage door. The person then cut open the soft sunroof a car and stole a purse containing an iPod, earphones, credit cards and a driver's license. The person also took an iPod and sunglasses from another vehicle before fleeing.

Possession of marijuana--On Jan. 21 at 9:26 p.m. on Saratoga Avenue and Prospect Road. A man was found with two plastic bags of marijuana inside his vehicle. One of the bags contained 28 grams and the other had 1.9 grams. The man was also found with an expired cannabis club card. He was cited and released at the scene.

Under the influence--On Jan. 21 at 5:06 a.m. on Paseo Lado and Quito Road. A bicyclist riding at night was stopped for not having a reflector light. The bicyclist showed signs of being under the influence of a controlled substance and admitted to smoking methamphetamine two days earlier.
