Grand theft--4:14 p.m., Dec. 28 on Sunnyvale Road and Iowa Avenue. A Santa Clara man was arrested for grand theft and conspiracy. Bail was set at $10,000. A San Jose woman was arrested on similar charges in connection with the crimes. A $10,000 bail also was set for her.
Assaulting an officer--8:40 p.m., Dec. 29 on El Camino Real and Mathilda Avenue. A Santa Clara man was arrested, and also charged with resisting arrest.
Burglary--3:30 p.m., Dec. 30 on All America Way. A San Jose woman was charged with burglary and possession of stolen property. Bail was set at $35,000.
Petty theft--5:45 p.m., Dec. 30 on South Sunnyvale and McKinley avenues. A Campbell man was arrested for petty theft, possession of a needle and possession of heroin. Bail was set at $5,900.
Hit and run--1:13 a.m., Jan. 1 on E. Evelyn Avenue. A Sunnyvale man was arrested for driving under the influence and running into someone. No information was available on the victim's condition.
Spousal abuse--3 a.m., Jan. 1 at Plaza Drive and Borregas Avenue. A Sunnyvale man was arrested on that charge.
Assault and battery--Before 10 p.m., Jan. 1 at Kern Court. A Sunnyvale man was involved. Bail was set at $2,500.
Spousal abuse--12:10 a.m., Jan. 2 at Beachnu and Madrone avenues. A Sunnyvale woman was arrested for spousal abuse, possession of methamphetamine, barbiturates and other charges. Bail was set at more than $5,000.
