    The Sunnyvale Community Players announce auditions for their production of Crazy for You on Jan. 27 and 28, from 6 to 9:30 p.m. at Braly Park, 704 Daffodil Court, Sunnyvale.     Flu Shots

    Foothill medical vaccine clinic will be offering flu shots during regular hours, 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturdays at the clinic, 877 W. Fremont Ave. A-1, Sunnyvale. No appointment is necessary. Call 408.739.3452.

    Traditional Jazz Society

    The South Bay Traditional Jazz Society will host the Alcatraz Angels Jazz Band at its monthly meeting on Jan. 28, from 1 to 5 p.m. at the Sunnyvale Elks Lodge, 375 N. Pastoria Ave. Cost is $8 at the door. The society is a 25-year-old nonprofit organization dedicated to the preservation and education of traditional jazz music for people of all ages.     Teddy Bear Concert

    The Presbyterian Church of Sunnyvale's will present its annual Teddy Bear Concert on Jan. 27, at 11 a.m. at the church, 728 W. Fremont Ave. Children and families are welcome to bring their teddy bears for the performance of classical literature, folk and children's music, designed especially for young listeners. Suggested ticket donations are $5 for individuals and $10 for families. Proceeds from the concert will go to The Janice Williams Memorial Scholarship for student scholarships. Call 408.739.9248.

    Swing and Sway Seniors

    The Sunnyvale Senior Center presents the Serenaders at the Jan. 24 senior dance. The Big Band dances are held the second and fourth Wednesdays of the month, from 7:30 to 9:30 p.m. at the Senior Center, 820 W. McKinley Ave. Cost is $4 per person for members and $5 per person for nonmembers. Refreshments are included. Call 408.730.7360.

    Life Meaning Workshop

    The Sunnyvale Senior Center will host a Recreating Life Meaning workshop on Jan. 30, from 10 to 11:30 a.m. in Room 502 of the Senior Center. The workshop will explore ways of honoring life's experiences, and will include discussion and exercises to facilitate healing and new beginnings. Call 408.730.7360.

    Bone Density Testing

    The Foundation for Osteoporosis Research and Education will offer bone density testing on Jan. 29, from 10 a.m. to 3:45 p.m. at the Longs Drugs store at 1675 Hollenbeck, Sunnyvale.     Sunnyvale Kiwanis

    The Sunnyvale Kiwanis are hosting a wine, cheese and chocolate tasting and sale fundraiser on Jan. 27, from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. at the Murphy Park Clubhouse, 260 N.     Mentoring Program

    Music in Sunnyvale
